There are a lot of local brands claiming to be the best blusher in the Philippines. Don’t worry because I’ve already discovered it for you guys.
According to Momshy WIKI, blushing is the physiological occurrence of temporary redness of the face as an emotional response. I’ve seen this a lot of times from my Mestizo crush way back in Elementary and High School (shout out to you Pinzon my forever and ever crush Amen!) and from myself whenever I have my third glass of chardonnay.
From my experience, ang color ng natural na nag b-blush ay may pagka-pink and hindi siya literal na pula.
I tried different colors of blushers before, even the orangey tone but I realized that if I want to emulate blushing realistically, I should go for the pinkish shades.
Way back in 2009 super uso yung NARS Orgasm blush, maybe until now it’s uso because it’s a cult classic but I prefer the Deep Throat shade. Although NARS can last a long time, the price point is of luxury and it’s not practical for the Modern Filipina woman to shell out 2k+ PHP just to look kinikilig so I went on a quest for the perfect blush with a non-pretensyosa price point and I found…
So what is the best blusher in the Philippines for me?
I bought this around 4 years ago and I think it can still last me another 4. The packaging contains 6g of product and super tagal niya maubos. I wear this blusher in almost all of my selfies. This is truly one of the best affordable blushers in the Philippines.
I discovered it randomly in Landmark Makati after going out on a bad date with some guy. I was only going to buy toiletries but their kiosk was so inviting because of the opened blushers which displayed different shades of pink!
My review of this blusher
The product when swiped is so smooth that you know it’s finely milled. It doesn’t have that feeling of exfoliation lol. The color payout is intimidating when you try it for the first time as it’s highly pigmented but the way I use it is by lightly dabbing a blush brush to the product before applying it to my cheeks.
Lately, I’ve been enjoying putting it on my temples, nakaka-kawaii.
You can adjust the intensity depending on the blush degree of your preference. Below are swatches I did, the left one is the full-on swatch and on the right is my preferred intensity of the product which was applied with a blush brush.
Some things I don’t like
When I bought this product, it costed me around almost 500 PHP but HELLO! That was 4 years ago pa and the product is still providing me the orgasmic look every Modern Pinay dreams of (lol baka ako lang). Napaka competitive ng price point niya.
What I don’t like about it is the free brush that comes with it. It felt super maaligasgas, hindi nakaka babae. Very rough ang brush, parang walang estrogen, hindi soft.
The packaging is very weak, nahulog ko lang siya ng very very light natanggal na yung mirror part niya.
The sheen that comes with it is very faint as well so you’ll need to pair it with your favorite highlighter but I don’t mind it that much.
I highly recommend this product and no this is not a sponsored post. At the moment, this is the best blusher in the Philippines from my own experience. If you want me to try other local brands, feel free to comment below.
By the way, if you are enjoying my posts, kindly share naman wag madamot kemz. Please follow me on Twitter, Instagram and FB because I post some stuff there that I don’t here.
Update: I’ve made a Homemade Blush Tutorial and the product came out if not to be at par with this one, better!
