Nichido Cosmetics is a very popular brand in the Philippines because of its friendly price point. It also boasts a wide array of beautifying toys and I’m going to share with you My Top 3 Nichido Products.
If I recall correctly, Nichido is the first makeup brand I’ve spent money on with my school allowance.
Their coral tone blusher was my best friend in high school.
I also like their packaging because it’s simple yet chic.
I’m not a fan of their lip products, makeup brushes, and eyeshadows though.
Moving on to my favorites…
My Top 3 Nichido Products
Nichido Eyelash Glue
If you love faking it like I do, you better check the Nichido Eyelash Glue out.
It’s the best eyelash glue in the Philippines that’s below 100 PHP.
Your falsies will adhere for the rest of the day even with strong tropical storm winds. I’m not sure but it does stand the test of weather and time.
I’ve used it a couple of times while in a steam shower with someone and my lashes were still alive.
What I don’t like about it is it has an Elmer’s Glue smell and its hard to work with packaging.
The packaging is pretty but I hate how I have to open and close it with force.
Product only comes with a lid that serves as the wand as well.
I hope the glue came in a squeeze tube.
Trust me, it gets annoying when you place the product somewhere else before gluing your 2nd eyelashes.
For its purpose, it’s one of the best eyelash glues in the Philippines and the best within its price point.
I bought the Nichido Eyelash Glue for around 70+ PHP and it can last up to 3 weeks if used daily.
Nichido Liquid Eyeliner
My 2nd favorite from this Nichido Products list is the liquid eyeliner.
For 68 PHP, you already have perfectly winged eyes for more than a month.
I love everything about the product and I wouldn’t change a thing.
The packaging is compact and travel-friendly.
It’s like a pen, it never breaks.
Brush is very precise and can get you the perfect lines.
Pigment lasts all day but the only thing you may not like is it’s not waterproof.
If you often sweat a lot, this is not for you.
It doesn’t dry quickly so it takes a little time before you can open your eyes after application.
Nichido Final Powder
Last but not the least in the Top 3 Nichido Products list is the powder.
I have dry + combination skin but I like baking under my eyes and finishing my t-zone with loose powder.
Amanda loves herself some good powder (not the type that makes you high).
The thing I like about it is it can also be used as a standalone product.
It has enough pigment and coverage but it’s not as powerful as a powder foundation.
I don’t find that the Nichido Final Powder combats sweat like the Shiseido Baby Powderbut it’s very good in controlling oil and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
Price is at around 150+ PHP and oil-control can last up to 4 hours.
It has different shades and it is easily accessible.
Packaging is sturdy and product is easy to dispense.
Scent is neutral and pleasant and the powder is finely-milled.
It comes with a twistable lid cap.
All you have to do is pour the product on the back part of the cap.
Puff is also available so it’s perfect when you want to travel light but want to stay fresh.
I love applying it with a powder brush though, I don’t travel light anyway lol.
Doesn’t have SPF so don’t look for it.
Everything in this Nichido Products Top 3 List is affordable and easily accessible.
You don’t have to reach for the stars to try them out.
Thank me later.
