If you’re looking for K-Beauty products in the Philippines, I think you’re going to love my find. Today, I’m going to feature a LipHip Review which was made possible by Miss Angela Moon of Giftbox Philippines.
This post isn’t sponsored but I got the items for free. I wasn’t and will never be obliged to alter my real thoughts about a product no matter how I obtain it.
Enough rambling and more reviewing.
LipHip Review by Amanda of Filipinow
Reviewing a set of matte lipsticks is a tiring chore. It’s so hard to apply and remove as most of it lasts all day. If a stain isn’t removed enough, the true color of the product won’t show.
There are 5 shades that LipHip offers. 2 of which are pinkish, the other 2 are reddish, and the last is nude.
Shade names exude a very feminine vibe and are very easy to remember.
There’s Bird Kiss, Deep Kiss, First Kiss, French Kiss, and Nudy Kiss.
Right off the bat is a very premium-looking packaging which is dominantly black.
It features the expiration date together with information in Korean text which I’ll only understand if a handsome millionaire Korean man marries me. Here’s hoping.
I like how the shelf-life of this product can last up to 2 years. I don’t finish lipsticks very easily. These LipHips will truly give a bang for your buck.
Inside the box is a sturdy yet beautiful tube bottle with a rose gold cap that modestly only cites LipHip.
I love simplicity when it comes to packaging. However, I wish that they at the very least listed the shade name. I throw boxes as much as I can immediately. I hate clutter.
Comes with a wand with a doe-foot applicator which is sturdy enough to deliver a precise application.
Scent is VERY reminiscent of a nostalgic toy from the Philippines. If you remember “Kisses na nanganganak”, that’s how it exactly smells like. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, it smells floral which can deliver a bit of nausea for people who are sensitive with smells.
Feeling on the lips is light-weight and isn’t very drying. Matte finish and transfer-proof apart from when you drink directly from a cup.
Longevity is 4 hours~ and doesn’t crack overtime.
LipHip Review Final Words
Wearing LipHip Nudy Kiss on my lips and First Kiss on my Cheeks
LipHip products remind me of cosmetics from Chanel and Glossier. Not strongly pigmented & very skin-friendly which is a plus for someone who has sensitive skin like I do.
I love how buildable it is and most importantly, the feeling that it gives to my lips.
Pretty but pampered is how I’d best describe my disposition whenever I’m wearing it.
