Seoul White Korea Double White Review

Anyeong Haseyo! Are you someone who likes to try different skin whitening soaps? Then by all means, keep reading this Seoul White Korea Double White review.

If I’m not mistaken, Seoul White Korea is technically not a K-Beauty company as it’s based in the Philippines. However, I’m not sure if the formulation of their skin care stuff is from Korea.

Trivial things aside, I love the whole K-Beauty vibe so let’s get started.

Seoul White Korea Double White Review by Amanda of Filipinow

Seoul White Korea Double White Inside 1

Seoul White Korea isn’t a total stranger to me. I’ve been seeing their products from Bloggers who I follow and it’s just now that I have the chance to try something out from them.

My frequent drugstore addiction whispered something to me when I was perusing the skin whitening soap aisle in Watsons.

What did I hear? It’s none of your business.

Oh come on Stella, I’m pretty sure the devil in you says the same thing as with mine whenever you’re in a drugstore. Stop trying to play innocent.

The packaging is so Kawaii (I don’t know the Hangeul for cute) and it is understandable as to why a nearing 30 like me, fell for its charm.

The pink box, the anime girl, the cute fonts! Ugh! I just can’t get enough of it.

One Seoul White Korea Double White Whitening Soap contains 2 bars. Each bar is a tad small and only weighs 60g making both just about the size of 1 regular skin whitening soap.

So gimmicky, I know!

Color of the soap is white and has Hangeul characters written on it.

Scent is identical to a Perla soap (sabong panlaba) with a hint of strawberry. Suffice to say, not very appealing lol.

Claims

Discover a new level of healthy white that’s touchably-soft with SEOUL WHITE WHITENING SOAP. With white strawberry infused with whitening kojic berry. Moisturizing creamy lather draws out dirt and pollution, and gently exfoliates. Helps lighten skin, dark spots, and acne marks, while leaving skin touchably soft.

Whoever made the description above should be fired ASAP. The bitch needs to learn new words apart from “with” and “touchably”. Get a dictionary sil vous plait?

Let’s continue with the most important part of this Seoul White Korea Double White Review…

My Experience

Seoul White Korea Double White Inside

I love how the soap’s lather is rich. I just can’t seem to find a way to appreciate the scent.

My skin didn’t get too tight and squeaky clean which implies that it’s truly PH-balanced.

No skin irritation occurred as well which is a plus.

The downside is, however the ingredients may sound potent when it comes to skin whitening, I didn’t see even minuscule changes after using it for more than 2 weeks.

Maybe it’s like a Papaya soap which manifests efficacy after years… we’ll never know.

Help us Nancy Drew!

For a Kojic Acid soap, it’s not as good as the others that I’ve tried.

I hope they focus less on branding and more on the product.

Even if it retails for only 80 PHP per box, I won’t be repurchasing it.
