L'occitane Amande Hand Cream Review Inside

Amande by Amanda… get it!?

Alright, let’s skip the corniness of it all and be less bleak. I just typed that and had another sip of coffee but my brain’s still not functioning quite well.

Okay, back from my 30-minute power nap.

Like any L’Occitane product packaging, this one didn’t fail to impress.

The style and shape remind me of the Crabtree & Evelyn Pomegranate Hand Cream except that the colors and fonts used on this one are from the opposite color spectrum.

The one I have is travel-friendly at 30ml but you can also get the “Family-Size” of 70ml for 16 UK Pounds.

I don’t hate anything about the packaging so let’s move on to less trivial stuff from this L’Occitane Amande Hand Cream Review…

Claims

Enriched with almond milk and almond oil, this silky-smooth cream helps to nourish and soften the hands while enveloping them with a subtle and mouthwatering scent of fresh almonds.

My Experience

Hand creams of any brand usually don’t fail me. I mostly grade them by packaging and scent.

This one is something I prefer when it comes to hand creams. There’s something about the scent of a bakery that really relaxes me.

I love how this cream reminds me of freshly baked home-made cookies.

If you’re like me who loves calming scents when it comes to skin care, don’t miss this out.

In terms of moisturization, it will leave your hands silky-smooth for a good 4 hours.

The feeling when applied is pleasantly warm. One of my issues is since it’s not as thick as other hand creams, it won’t be able to help soften your cuticles.

However, there are people out there who hate thick creams and will truly find this one enjoyable to use.

Another issue of mine is the price but we all know that L’Occitane products don’t come cheap.

In terms of efficacy as a hand cream, there are a lot of more affordable options available in the market but I’ve never smelled a hand cream this good.

It all boils down to one’s budget and needs.

L’Occitane Amande Hand Cream Review Final Words

Do I think this is the best hand cream available in the market? No.

Do I think it’s just gimmicky and is a rip-off? No.

I honestly think this one’s worth a try. You can always buy the mini ones or ask for a sample from a L’Occitane store near you.
