I’ve been noticing that my website has been focusing a lot on skin care lately to the point of me neglecting my readers who are also into makeup. Today, I’m going to break that cycle with this Missha 4D Mascara Review.
To be honest, I only use mascaras nowadays to bind my real lashes with fake ones. The very reason is because I like the final look of falsies better than my real lashes with mascara.
Added to that, I get to save time from curling my lashes every 2 hours because they’re annoyingly very heterosexual (straight lol).
Missha 4D Mascara Review by Amanda of Filipinow
The packaging is very sleek and simple. It reminds me of MAC liquid eyeliners. The product comes in a pen-like sturdy plastic container.
Wand is of a standard mascara with no frills and quirky shapes for further utilization. I love how it doesn’t include gimmicky 2-in-1 stuff like the ones with one end lengthening and the other, volumizing.
It’s your typical “mascara” mascara.
I don’t even know why I described that too intensely and precisely. My makeup reviewing skill is a little rusty. Pardonne moi.
Off to something less trivial from this Missha 4D Mascara Review…
Scent is what you’d typically get from most mascaras. A little floral with a hint of Elmer’s Glue lol.
This is actually the first time that I’ve tried a K-Beauty mascara and I had low expectations. I’m just not a fan of Korean brands when it comes to makeup but surprisingly… this one is so freaking amazing!
It reminds me of Maybelline’s Hypercurl but with more volume.
One swipe is literally all you need because it tends to clump up the lashes.
You’ll need to comb your eyelashes if you don’t want them to look bunched up together.
I live in the Philippines and it is very humid here but this one has a staying power of up to 6 hours.
The very reason why I find this 4D mascara amazing is that unlike with other mascaras, this curls your lashes for up to 3 hours.
The only 2 factors that I’m not a fan of are the clumping and smearing.
If you’re an emotional person, this is not for you.
