Enough pep talk and let’s get to it.
Kampuku Beauty Bar Review 2019
by Amanda of Filipinow
I am not familiar with this brand. I got this beauty bar by Dr. Ohhira as a gift from my brother-in-law.
He knows that I love beautifying stuff and his addiction to shopping led to this review.
Thanks Kuya Eddie!
When it comes to skin care, I’m very practical and I know that I won’t be able to maintain this one as it costs around 18 USD. However, if it’s free and expensive, I enjoy it to the last drop.
You go Freeloader Franny!
Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotic Kampuku Beauty Bar merges the revitalizing power of natural ingredients, ancient Japanese fermentation skills and modern science to create a clarifying, balancing, and rejuvenating skin cleanser suitable for all ages and skin types.
This exclusive formula, created by award-winning microbiologist Iichiroh Ohhira, Ph.D., melds probiotic and prebiotic nutrients to help support the balanced ecology necessary for healthy skin.
The packaging delivers a luxe yet ancient feel. It really goes well with how dramatically they described probiotic extract.
Comprised of natural, wild-growing herbals hand-harvested from the vast mountain region in the Chugoku district of Japan, seaweed from Japan’s ocean, and mountains spring water.
I mean… it’s just way too over the top especially if you’re the reader and your name is Amanda or Jocelyn.
Anyway, you get the gist.
Suffice to say, I love everything about the packaging.
Let’s head on to what’s important in this Kampuku Beauty Bar Review…
Before I used it, I showed it to my dermatologist. I’m currently still on isotretinoin and mild topical products to cure my acne (I’m currently pimple-free yey!) so I’m very strict with what I apply on my face.
She said that she didn’t see any acnegenic ingredients and told me to only stop using it if my skin reacts badly or grow a new zit.
Bar is of square shape and is only half as big as the box.
Color is brown and has a funny smell (oats and a little musk).
Lathers very well and is very enjoyable to use.
I’ve been using it for almost 2 weeks now and I am really loving it. After I wash my face with the Kampuku Beauty Bar, my face doesn’t get too tight and dry.
Its claim of balancing skin’s PH is true and its cleansing power is amazing as well.
Whenever I use a toner, it literally doesn’t pick up any dirt anymore.

Blackheads are non-existent as well and I have not experienced any irritation from it.
However, for something that costs around 18 USD for something that’ll only last for maybe a month and a half, it can get too costly.
It’s rather gimmicky (to be sold for a higher price point) but if you have the money, I highly recommend it.
