Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm Inside

To be honest, I’m a bit accustomed to Korean skin care but I’m not a fan. I’m also under isotretinoin and I’m very careful with what I put on my face as I don’t want to grow pimples again.

However, my beauty blog needs content and I’m very lucky that my cousin has agreed to be my guinea pig.

Jana has a fairly flawless skin but her nose gets bombarded by blackheads from time to time.

She has a combination to oily skin and blackheads are not of novelty for her.

Let’s head on to what you really came for in this Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm Review.

Her First Impression

I love the eco-friendly look of the packaging. However, please know that the tub used is still plastic so it kind of defeats the purpose lol.

Aesthetics-wise, it’s a very typical skin care product but with a more medicated look.

Furthermore, she loves it and that’s all that matters.

She said that she can’t decipher what the scent is but it gives me a hint of tea. Green tea to be exact.

I just searched for further information and I found out that it does contain Green Tea! I’m getting so good at determining scents now. Maybe it’s because of the constant perfume reviews that I make. If you’re inclined, please read my favorite perfume for women list.

Going back to the product. The balm is white but as you rub it on the skin, it becomes clear.

Feeling is a little buttery and can get itchy after a minute or 2. (I’ve used it only once).

Jana, the one who used the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm for a week, is now a fan!

She said that after her first application, it didn’t draw all of the blackheads out. However, after using it for 3 times in just 1 week, her blackheads disappeared.

I can attest to it as I’ve seen the before and after. However, I don’t have photos as I wasn’t sure if I was going to publish a review about it.

I’ve asked her to try it for me as a spur of the moment thing (I wasn’t sure that it’d perform well) while watching Kadenang Ginto with her lol.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm Ingredients

It doesn’t give instant gratification as it’s utilized as product for maintenance.

However, if you have acne-prone skin, I don’t recommend it. It’s oil-based and we all know that oils are acnegenic (plus according to my dermatologist).

I got mine from Althea Korea. If you’re from the Philippines, expect your orders to be delivered in less than a week!

For only 240 PHP for 30g, I think it’s a steal.
