Countless affordable perfumes can be found in the Philippines but it’s hard to find ones that have authentic EDP quality.
I have a great love of scents and I’m always on the lookout for new ones.
Sure, I have a lot of imported favorites but I can’t use them on a regular basis because it would be too costly for me.
The idea of buying imitations for a fraction of the original’s cost is very appealing but I always find myself disappointed because the scent of these imitations often doesn’t last.
If they don’t last, they’ll smell strongly of alcohol and I’m not into that scent.
Today, I’m going to share with you a perfume with REAL EDP quality for just below 120 PHP.
The only thing you may not like is it’s not inspired by popular scents but I could care less because it smells so damn good.
Bali Bliss, King of Affordable Perfumes?
I’m not sure if I will be the first one to review this brand but I discovered it when I decided to get a massage while waiting for a gadget that I was getting fixed.
I got it last year and I’ll be buying more variants next week.
Bali Bliss is not really known for their affordable perfumes because it’s a massage place.
You’ll often find small massage parlors like it scattered everywhere in the Philippines. Don’t skip trying their products out.
These places usually have tie-ups with small businesses that provide massage oils, aromatherapy oils, perfumes, and etc.
One of the key factors in a successful spa is the vibe that it evokes from the visitor and together with that vibe is a scent that’s inviting and unforgettable.
First of all, the massage was really good.
It was around 280 PHP per hour which is a very economical way to destress.
I’m not going to be talking about the massage so before I start to ramble, let’s go straight to the perfume.
After my relaxing massage, I was offered free tea by the receptionist.
I can’t stay idle because I’m an Aquarius so I kept looking around for things to do while I finish my tea.
I’m not really into my phone when I’m out and my observant behavior rewarded me with a treasure when my eyes locked with the perfume display on one of Bali Bliss’ shelves.
I thought my day ended with a happy ending already until there it was, the perfumes.
Stop trying to be Carrie Bradshaw, Amanda!
“Are those for sale?” I asked while pointing at the gems.
The receptionist gladly answered and offered me a tray of perfumes to try.
To my surprise, all of them had an EDP quality.
None smelled like alcohol and their fruit variants smelled like fruits which also apply to their floral options.
I was more interested when I found out that one 30ml perfume only costs around 120 PHP.
I forgot the exact price already but I will update you once I get back.
The scent I got is called Tangerine. There’s also one called Amber if I recall correctly which I also loved.
I only bought 1 because I wanted to try its longevity and seriously, it lasts all-freaking day!
Apart from the longevity, the sillage was powerful in a very good way.
The scent is a pleasant mixture of tangerine and jasmine. Very feminine!
I actually got complimented for it multiple times already.
Packaging is very chic but I don’t like the font used for the word tangerine. The glass bottle and gold cap made up for it though.
I have dry and sensitive skin (Know your skin type here for FREE) and it doesn’t react badly with this.
Convenience with traveling is very good as it’s only 30ml and you won’t have to forcibly give it as a gift to the airport security.
To date, it’s if not the best, one of the best affordable perfumes in the Philippines.
I am not sure if you have a Bali Bliss near you but if you do, definitely check it out.
