I like a good green tea face mask but I’ve never tried something that requires preparation. I was so excited when Bare Body Essentials sent me stuff to try. Their product called Vanity Mask was what initially caught my attention. It’s a face mask that’s infused with amazing beautifying benefits.
I’ve been seeing Bare Body Essentials all over the internet and I sent them a message because I wanted to know what the buzz was all about.
They’re popular for their sugar wax and oils and I’m just so happy that they took the time to read my proposal.
The co-founder who I corresponded with was very welcoming and lovely. I originally only wanted to try how a sugar wax works but she was so gracious in sending me skin care products to try as well.

What kind of crazy person wouldn’t try a green tea face mask?
Let’s move on to how it performed in reality.
Bare Body Essentials Vanity Mask Double Deep Repair
The Vanity Mask doesn’t come in a pre-packaged mask form. The product is of powder form and is contained in a plastic tub.
I like the packaging but the owner is not satisfied with it yet and here at Filipinow, we love innovation.
It looks like a Korean Skin Care product, suffice to say, the packaging’s very appealing.
Moving on to less trivial stuff, the product.
The product is in faint green powder form and it smells strongly of green tea.
What draws me to it is the price. It is only 260 PHP for 100g. A very economical way to luxuriate.
The usual price point of a pre-packaged face mask starts from around 40 PHP a piece.
Vanity Mask is good for 10 uses so it will only cost you 26 PHP per a pampering session.
I find that 1bsp is enough for my face and I don’t have a small face so that’s saying a lot.
How to Use the Green Tea Face Mask from Bare Body Essentials
It is advised to be mixed with water/egg white/honey.
I don’t recommend mixing it with egg whites if you have sensitive skin (Know your Skin Type HERE for free)
The reason being is because I got a breakout from it (egg white). Stick to water and thank me later.
Prepare the powder first and gradually add liquid (in tiny amounts) until you get a cream-like like consistency.
Leave it on your face for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse thoroughly.
Bare Body Essentials Vanity Mask after 20 minutes
It looked cute on me at first but as hitting the 20-minute mark, I started to look like Hulk or Shrek lol.
The feeling on my skin was very tight (which I love) and it didn’t feel itchy.
You’ll barely notice the time when this green tea face mask is on.
After an Hour
My face felt so tight and clean. It also delivered a brightening effect and it truly gave instant gratification.
Irritation wasn’t present and I didn’t have a breakout from the Water + Vanity Mask concoction.
Day After Pic
It dried out the hormonal acne on my chin and upper lip area. (I’m temporarily off MTF Hormone Replacement Therapy because I’m trying to lose weight)
My face was still bright and I looked like I had a new disposition in life. All thanks to the green tea face mask from Bare Body Essentials.
I don’t recommend it to be used daily because it exfoliates the skin.
If you have oily skin, you can use this up to 3 times a week but if you have dry and sensitive skin like I do, stick to once a week.
Availability: 4/5 (It’s almost everywhere online)
My take on this is it’s an amazing natural anti-acne mask. You can find other Pimple Remedies HERE if you’re so inclined.
Try this green tea face mask if you want clearer skin.
