Bare Body Essentials Kojic Berry Soap Review
I woke up so late today and I’m in a bit of a rush because I have to go to church. Please don’t burn me at the stake if you see a lot of grammatical errors in this Bare Body Essentials Kojic Berry Soap Review.
It’s been quite a while since I made a review about a skin whitening product. Let me tell you if this Kojic Berry Soap fares well with other skin whitening soaps in the Philippines.
Bare Body Essentials Kojic Berry Soap Review by Amanda of Filipinow
I got this product as an addition to Bare Body Essentials’ generosity when they sponsored the Filipinow Care Package Giveaway.
Along with this are 3 variants that are called Pore-Fection, Zit-Away, and Skin-Perfecting.
Since the majority of my readers enjoy my skin whitening articles, I decided to focus on the Kojic Berry variant.
The packaging is my least favorite among all of Bare Body Essentials’ products.
I’m not the fan of the cardboard used but I love the design of the boxes.
Albeit the flimsy box, I like how the ingredients are listed and what the soap is for.
Ingredients
Vegetable Glycerine, Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Collage, Licorice, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera Extract, Strawberry Extract, Fragrance
Let’s move on to the important part of this Bare Body Essentials Kojic Berry Soap review…
My Experience
The scent is fruity and appealing but doesn’t linger on the skin for a long time.
Color is translucent pink which means its glycerine based.
Soap has a quirky look as it has huge round bumps that resemble a neck massager.
I love the feeling when I apply it on my skin because I feel like I’m massaging myself but apart from that, it leaves me dissatisfied.
Lather is not rich and won’t give you an enjoyable experience when you shower.
It won’t make you feel squeaky clean or moisturized. It’s just like you showered in pure water.
Peeling is not present as well.
I’ve endured using it for 2 weeks but I just didn’t find it doing anything good for my skin.
The box has a portion which shows Batch Code and Expiration Date indicators but both are left blank.
The feeling I have after using this is very reminiscent of how I felt like when I tried L’Occitane’s Jasmin and Bergamote line.
I have no idea of what its price is but I am certain that this is my only and least favorite product from the brand Bare Body Essentials.
I hope they don’t get mad at me for making this review because I love them. Just know that they make one of the best sugar waxes that’s easily utilized for you to not look like a hairy Neanderthal.
Final Words
If you’re looking for a good skin whitening soap, the Kojic Berry isn’t it. However, it’s a good massager lol.

UPDATE
Directions for use by the owner
I was told that to make it lather well, you have to use a mesh or use both hands to roll the soap repeatedly. She added that the reason why it doesn’t dry or moisturize the skin out is its formula is made for dry and sensitive skin.
Happy Hump Day!
