Cream Silk Dry Rescue Review

If you’ve been reading my blog, I’m pretty sure that you’re aware of Cream Silk as my favorite brand when it comes to hair conditioners. This is the 3rd time I’m writing a review about their products. Where is my check!? Just kidding. If you have dry hair like I do, keep reading this Cream Silk Dry Rescue review.

I’ve been losing sleep lately because I’m addicted to a new mobile game. Please bear with me if my thoughts are a little jumbled.

Cream Silk Dry Rescue Inside

We all know how evil a grocery store is. I often get lured to buying products that I don’t really need.

The Cream Silk Dry Rescue conditioner wasn’t from an impulse purchase. I got it right after my consultation with the dermatologist.

She advised me to avoid any products with oil and added that Cream Silk products usually don’t have it apart from their Argan Oil variant.

I’m currently under isotretinoin and I wouldn’t risk anything to further worsen my acne.

Wow Amanda! You were able to justify that purchase when you already have 3 variants of Cream Silk conditioners in your bathroom.

My Experience

Yassi Pressman looks very beautiful on the tube. However, I still prefer the Cream Silk Triple Keratin Rescue packaging.

What pushed me to add the hair conditioner in my cart was the “Dry Rescue” label.

If my hair is a supernatural being, it would probably be a zombie; already dead but somehow, still standing.

Thanks to my addiction with being blonde.

Cream Silk Dry Rescue Ingredients

Texture is buttery and very easy to apply. My hair absorbs the product very quickly.

Scent is appealing and not overpowering.

Floral whiff is ample and won’t make your hair smell like it was soaked in rose water (not judging if you’re into that).

I’m not sure of the exact price for the 180ml tube but I clearly remember that it’s not expensive.

Promises

Cream Silk Dry Rescue with Moisture Lock Complex is specially designed for dry, dehydrated hair, protecting it from dryness. Transform your hair to up to 97% free of dryness from the 1st wash.

My Take

This conditioner is not as powerful as the Triple Keratin Rescue variant. However, I love how it’s gentle on my skin, specifically on my back.

Does your back get itchy from some products after hours of taking a shower too? If so, this won’t give you that sensation.

Claims to relieve dry hair and it does, but not for more than 24 hours. I’d say your hair will look and feel decent for about 5 hours.

Cream Silk Dry Rescue Final Words

Do I see myself reaching for it? Definitely. It’s a great maintenance product but if I’m going to a special event, I’d have to endure the Triple Keratin Rescue’s side effect.
