Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review 2018

I never in a million years would ever think I’d make a Garnier review. I’ve had bad experiences with their creams and toners years ago. Today, you’re going to know if the brand redeemed itself with this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water review.

The very reason as to why I didn’t like their products was most of them has strong fragrances. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t work well with creams that smell like dishwashing soap.

If you have sensitive skin like I do, keep reading.

I finally gave in to the call of blatant advertising from Garnier. It’s actually the first micellar water that I wanted to try but things happen which urged me to publish a Nivea Micellair review first.

Garnier always has good packaging. I’ve never seen anything from them that I don’t aesthetically like.

I’m used to seeing yellow in terms of Garnier products but their micellar water is surprisingly pleasantly pink.

The bottle shape, the cap, the fonts; everything is uniquely theirs.

Looks aside, the plastic bottle is sturdy and well presented with ample information about the product.

Ingredients

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Ingredients

Aqua, hexylene glycol, glycerin, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, disodium edta, myrtrimonium bromide, poloxamer 184

Claims

NEW! 1st all-in-one Micellar Cleansing Water that gently removes makeup and purifies your skin in just 1 swipe.

Enriched with Micelles, it captures and lifts away residue like a magnet.

No harsh rubbing needed. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. Non-sticky, non-oily, no added fragrance and no alcohol.

My Take

From reading their claims, you can obviously tell as to why I decided to try the product out.

I have sensitive skin so I can’t deal with anything topically fragrant. I also love how there’s no alcohol which irritates my skin as well. The non-oily claim is perfect because my doctor told me that oils are acnegenic and they would defeat the purpose of my isotretinoin medication.

So Amanda… tell us what the f happened already! Was it good!?

Calm down Keira…

YES! It was very good!

Not only that, it actually exceeded my expectations.

Although I really love Nivea Micellair, this one removes makeup very quickly.

The only thing that bothers me about it is it stings a little on the eye area but it’s tolerable.

One swipe is not enough because I put layers upon layers of liquid makeup but compared to other mild makeup removers, this is if not the best, one of the best.

No stinging sensations will be felt and I didn’t experience any irritation hours after using it.

Usually, if a product doesn’t work well with my skin, I get breakouts the day after.

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is probably the best product that the company has ever made.

I also love how generous they are to provide 125ml of product for only 89 PHP.
